Neurologic disorders of dogs and cats include problems affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system.
Dr. Curtis W. Dewey is EPV’s neurologist/neurosurgeon and has decades of experience diagnosing and treating dogs and cats with neurologic disorders. He is a graduate of Cornell University (BS, DVM), and is board-certified in both neurology (DACVIM-Neurology) and surgery (DACVS). He has lived in the Ithaca area for over two decades. Dr. Dewey has published numerous articles dealing with neurological disorders and has introduced several treatment (medical and surgical) options for dogs and cats with neurologic problems. At EPV, we offer state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapy options for dogs and cats with neurologic issues. We are one of very few centers in the region with MRI capability. We also offer digital radiography (x rays), thermal imaging, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis and more.
